JOB PURPOSE
As a Senior Engineer your primary responsibility is to deliver installation projects of the highest standard, exceeding the expectations of our esteemed clients. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that their diverse needs are consistently met, fostering a sense of trust and confidence in our services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing installation jobs, managing communication with staff, customers and management. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects within specified deadlines and budget constraints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To have good interpersonal skills and become a key member of our team.
Lead and oversee HVAC and air conditioning installation projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with installation teams, technicians and subcontractors to allocate resources effectively, schedule tasks and maintain project timelines.

Private Healthcare – Upon successful completion of
ect updates, report on key metrics and address any challenges or deviations from the project plan.
To utilise your comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
To be able to liaise and promote the ongoing relationships with our valued customers.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the installation process.
Conduct quality inspections and assessments throughout the installation process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
To stay up to date with industry advancements, emerging technologies and best practices in the industry.
To proactively seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge through training and professional development.
Logging and tracking progress using online portals and applications.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation records, equipment manuals and warranties, to ensure that all documentation is organised, up-to-date and easily accessible.
To maintain company vehicles and equipment.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- F-Gas qualified engineers.
- NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration – minimum Level 2 or above.
- CSCS, Asbestos aware, PASMA, IPAF & task specific training.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to work as part of a team or alone.
- Willing to work nationwide & flexible hours (Inc. occasional weekend & night works).
- Adaptable & Flexible mindset with a good use of initiative.
- Able to work away – accommodation and subsistence provided.
- Clear communication skills & presentation to customers, managers and team members
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to clients of varying backgrounds and levels of expertise.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering timely and reliable solutions
EXPERIENCE
Extensive knowledge of working with all major manufacturers of air conditioning – Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, etc and preferably with awareness of Systemair, Trane, Lennox, Carrier package units.
Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, including design principles, installation techniques and troubleshooting methodologies.
Knowledge of plant such as boilers, pumps, booster sets and pressurisation units is desired but not essential.
Knowledge of Electrical, Controls & BMS systems.
Proven leadership abilities, with experience leading and motivating teams to achieve project objectives.
Previous experience or willingness towards mentoring and training junior engineers and technicians to develop their skills and expertise in HVAC installation and project management.
Comfortable using IT/Software for service reports & feedback.
TRAVEL
Nationwide work, ability to work away when necessary and as determined by project requirements.
